Phillipson Master MF80 8' 6-7wt Fiberglass Rod

For sale here is a Phillipson "Master" - Model MF80 - 8' 2 piece 6-7wt fiberglass fly rod. The rod is in excellent+ overall condition. The rod features a classic, mustard yellow blank with variegated green and black wraps. Bright guides. U-shaped hook-keeper. The rod appears to have never had anything written on it. Nickel silver ferrules, the fit is great. Reverse half wells grip with only minor soiling. Black anodized aluminum down-locking reel seat in excellent condition. The action is classic glass though a bit faster than most glass rods of this era. Includes original Phillipson labeled rod bag and original cardboard tube with gold Phillipson label. This is a wonderful example of a 1970's Phillipson glass rod. Don't miss out!
