For sale here is a Jim Reams 8'6", 3/2, 5 weight, hollowbuilt bamboo rod with full wells grip, up-locking slide band reel seat and blued hardware. The rod is in excellent used condition. Typical casting cracks in the ferrule wraps and soiling of the grip prove the rod has been fished a fair amount. Great ferrule fit - size 10/64 and 16/64. Tip tops are 5/64, or .0755”. The rod weighs 4 1/4 oz. Medium to medium fast dry fly action. The varnish is in great condition with nothing of concern. The reel seat spacer is in fine condition with no gouges from a reel foot. Jim uses a great bluing formula and therefore the bluing is still mostly perfect, except on the tip top the prior owner obviously fished most often. Made in 2010. Comes with standard labeled rod tube and bag.

All items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
