For sale here is a Giorgio Benecchi Regent Cherie B fly tying vise. The vise is in excllent+ condition with only light handling wear and marks from transporting. It appears to have been tied on very little if ever at all.
Though quite simple with its single adjustment knob the vise is capable of an endless amount of positions. Once locked down the vise is very stable. The large knob on the arm controls the tension of all joints on the vise arm. The jaws are also tightened with a single adjustment knob and includes a small peg that fits into the knob for leverage if needed. The peg fits conveniently in one of the milled hole in the base. The other holes can be used for a variety of tools and supplies. The jaws are slotted for larger hook sizes making this vise extremely versatile as it holds hook sizes #32 - 0/9. The base is made from heavy milled steel with two large pockets for various tying materials (hooks, beads, etc.). There is also a 1 3/8" circular cork pad that serves well as a drying station for finished flies. The vise weighs nearly 6.5 lbs making for plenty of stability.
Thanks to the innovative design of the vise it easily folds down quickly and fits in a handsome pine display case. The case is lined with foam on the interior and features aluminum hardware and a carrying strap on the exterior. The box remains in like new condition showing almost no wear.
Included is the original invoice. Don't miss out on this rare vise from Giorgio Bebecchi.
