A Ron Kusse bamboo fly rod, 6'6", 2-piece, 2-tip, built for a #4. Ser. #8665. It weighs 3.5 ounces on my scale (the hang tag lists the weight as 2 7/8 ounces). Light use or lawn cast condition. Very light hand soiling to the grip and casting cracks to the ferrule wraps are all that I see. The cane shafts are flame treated to a chestnut color with some areas slightly darker. Semi-random node pattern with some nodes adjacent to each other. The main wraps are red with black edges at the keeper and ferrules. The stripper is a #8 black SRMC carbide and the snake guides are bronze coated. The Swiss style ferrules could use a cleaning to fit properly. Very fast DF action. The ferrules have been oxidized black. The rod has a large swell and the 6" cigar grip tapers down to the swell. The burl walnut cap and ring seat has a lip acting as a rear cork check. The nickel silver cap and ring has the stamp "Ron Kusse, Maker" and both have been oxidized. The coating on the butt cap has flaked a bit leaving the oxidation somewhat patchy. The rod comes in a tan color cloth bag with stiffener and hang tag. The tube is brushed aluminum with generous brass top, collar, and bottom.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

Other Terms
- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
