A Ron Kusse Beaverkill Quad fly rod, 7'6", 2-piece, 2-tip, built for a #4/5. Listed on the hang tag as 3 3/4 oz and serial #0151 as well as the model and line weight. Fast action and near mint condition. Flamed cane in a 2 opposed node pattern construction. Brown wraps edged in black with an extra band of red and black at the keeper, ferrules, and tip tops. The only sign of use is a little bit of crazing at the ferrule wraps. The grip shows no sign of hand soiling. The grip is a slim cigar profile of 5 1/2' (11 corks) and is tapered to a square at the keeper wrap. Keeper is 1 flat right. The step ferrules are flatted and squared and oxidized. The varnished cap and ring seat is Mahogany flatted for the reel foot and steps up to act as the rear cork check. The slide band and cap are oxidized and the cap is stamped "Ron Kusse, Maker" in the cartouche. The tips are mirrored. Comes in a grey cloth bag with internal stiffener and hang tag. The tube is black crackle paint with a gold anodized aluminum collar and top and is stamped with the Kusse die stamp.
