For sale here is a Saga rod from Hokkaido, Japan featuring state of the art bamboo ferrules. 7'8 for a 5 weight line in a two section / one tip configuration. Hollow-built. Beautiful buckeye reel seat spacer. Shinichiro Saga has been hand-crafting bamboo rods for over fifteen years and has developed quite a following in Japan and beyond. His rods are well-known for very smooth and powerful, medium to medium fast action performance. His bamboo ferrules have never failed and let me tell you, they've been field-tested by some of the most demanding casters.
