For sale here is a highly desirable Sage 509 Fly Reel. This reel was made exclusively for Sage by Hardy Bros. of England. This is the Sage equivalent of the Hardy St. John or JLH and Sage had them add a palming rim! The reel is in excellent+ condition with some grease residue marks inside the reel, some slight tarnish to the reel foot, and a few minuscule marks to the anodized surface of the reel.I've cleaned and re-lubed the reel. Left or right hand retrieve. Reversible single screw nickel silver line guide. Strong drag with a loud click. An excellent reel for salmon or steelhead!

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items.
