For sale here is a Sage Model 705 fly reel and two spare spools. All three are in excellent used condition though there is some minor wear to the rim of the reel as well as a few blemishes in the rollers. These are all cosmetic and nothing to cause concern. The Sage 700 reel series was made by Loop (Danielsson) in Sweden and features a unique roller bearing system. These reels have a neutral bias for left or right hand retrieve with an adjustable knob that applies tension to the spool (affects incoming and outgoing). The spool also has a palmable rim. Ideal for line weights 4-6. The reel weighs 4.45 oz. Diameter 3 1/4". Capacity WF6+100. The reel is compatible with the Loop Traditional 1.5 spools and vice-versa. Includes a floating line on one spool, a sinking/intermediate line on the other and the reel is loaded with backing. The lines are in like new condition.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
