The rod features a brown sanded blank with deep coffee wraps and chestnut tipping. The label remains clean and bold. U-shaped hook keeper. Cigar-style grip 6 7/8" in length void of any ridging or other defects. Bright aluminum down-locking reel seat over a varnished walnut spacer. The butt cap features a grippy rubber button. The sleeve-over ferrules have retained a perfect fit over the years. The rod weighs a lean 3.80 oz. The action is surprisingly fast for a glass rod - on the faster side of medium-fast and quite powerful. This is matched with the sensitivity that glass can provide. Perfect for throwing streamers. Includes a replacement bag and tube.
