For sale here is an ultra-scarce Joe Saracione Limited Edition saltwater reel set. This set is even more rare in that the reels have the all-black anodized finish. Joe produced 20 of these limited edition reel sets and only a few were all-black. The reels are in mint and unused condition. Comes with beautiful wooden case with maroon baize lining. This is set #6 as noted on each reel foot.
These reels (known as the “Bonefish”, the “Permit”, and the “Tarpon”) pay tribute to the classic Gar Wood Jr. “Wedding Cake” style reels made by Fin-Nor. The reels have cork disc drags, an incoming and outgoing click, and are set up for right hand wind. The Bonefish is 3 1/2″ in diameter with a 1″ spool width, the Permit 3 7/8″ in diameter with a 1 1/16″ spool width, and the Tarpon has a 4 1/4″ diameter with a 1 1/8″ spool width.
Don't miss out on this opportunity to acquire one of most difficult to find reel sets made by one of today's best reel makers!
