An excellent Scott SC bamboo fly rod, 7'7", 3-piece, 2-tip, built for a #4 line. Serial #0010. Fast DF action. Mint unused. Very nicely done rod. Superb varnish. Brown toned cane in a 2 opposed node pattern, with mirrored tips. Transparent main wraps with dark brown edges. Dark brown at the ferrules and an extra band of yellow, light brown, and dark brown at the keeper and the male ferrules. There is a dark brown wind-away 4 1/2" above the keeper with a yellow core. "Scott SC" is lettered 2 flats left and "7'7" 4 line #0010" lettered 1 flat left. Agate stripper and snake brand snake guides. Oxidized truncated step ferrules. 5 3/4" full wells grip with a varnished ring of composite cork inserted at the tip front of the grip. The reel seat is some type of stabilized burle and is not varnished. Black anodized ring and cap of aluminum. Scott logo anodized at bottom of the cap. This seat is uplocking with a hidden pocket cap and is properly radiused to fit small reels securely. Comes with a Scott logo bag with stiffener and a grey painted aluminum tube with the Scott logo. Aluminum and cork ferrule plugs. A lot of very nice detail work went into this rod.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
