Scott PowR-ply F-81 Fiberglass Fly Rod 8' 2/1 #6 [SALE PENDING]

A rare early Scott PowR-Ply F81 fiberglass fly rod, 8', 2-piece, 1-tip, and built for a #6 line. Serial 81-1401. The rod remains in excellent condition with a little bit of hand soiling to the grip but no real issues that I could find. Pleasant medium-fast action. Classic yellow unsanded glass blank with dark gold wraps and the script remains clean and bold. Spigot ferrules that fit beautifully. Chrome guides and tip tops. Half-wells style grip with a varnished burl front cork check.  Uplocking screwlock reel seat with a hidden pocket cap in the heel of the grip and a gold anodized spacer. The bottom of the seat sports a cork and wood burl cap. The rod packs into the original maroon cloth bag and aluminum tube with the original Scott data sticker affixed to it. A very fine example of this model which helped put Scott on the map.
