The Scott G-Series rods are widely hailed as some of the greatest graphite rods ever made and unlike many graphite rods, they appreciate with age. The rod was built at the latter end of production for the original G series rods in the early 2000's. The rod features an unsanded blank characteristic of Scott rods. Maroon wraps. Spigot ferrules with a 1/8" gap to allow for wear over time. Red witness marks for easy alignment. The script on the rod written in red remains fully intact. Reverse half wells grip. Up-locking nickel silver reel seat with rosewood spacer. The rod weighs 3.65 oz. The action is classic medium-fast graphite action that made the G rods famous.
