For sale here is South Bend No. 290 7'6" 2/2 for a 5 weight line. The rod is in very good condition. The varnish is in good condition. All sections are full length, no repairs have been made. All original. The butt section does have a slight sweet to the right near the ferrule. Both tip sections are straight. The ferrules are in good shape and fit together nicely. On one of the tips the 1st guide below the tip-top has had one of it's feet come loose and needs to be re-wrapped. The cork and reel seat are both in great shape. The South Bend decal on the butt section is 90% intact. The rod needs a bit of work but not much. The 290 is the most sought after South Bend known as a great all around fishing rod. Comes with replacement Cordura covered pvc tube and black rod bag.
