For sale here is South Bend No. 359 9' 3/2 for a 6 weight line. The rod is in very good condition. There is some evidence of minor bag burn from the rod sitting in the bag for many years but appears to have been fished very little. All sections are full length, straight and no repairs have been made. All original. The ferrules are in good shape and fit together nicely. The ventilated "comficient" cork is in excellent condition and still retains its "Comficient Grip" sticker on the thumb rest. The aluminum reel seat is also in great shape. The South Bend decal on the butt section is 95% intact. Richly tempered cane with black wraps. Agate stripping guide. Medium action. Rod comes with original bag, tag fully intact and original tube without bottom cap. 85% of label intact. A classic "blue-collar" fly rod that would be great with bass or larger trout.
