Steffen Bros. - 8'3 5-6wt Fiberglass Fly Rod

For sale here we have a fiberglass fly rod from the highly regarded Steffen Bros. 8'3" 5-6wt 2 pc. The rod is in unused condition. Steffen Bros.' rods are often touted as some of the best casting rods coming out today; bamboo, glass, or otherwise. 

The rod features an unsanded S-glass blank in the reddish-rust color characteristic of Steffen Bros. Bright guides, ceramic stripping guide. Burgundy wraps that match well yet contrast the blank for a subdued look. There is a band of marked thread at the 16" and 20" mark to help curb the the tales of 20" fish. The rod information is written in white on the butt section. U-shaped hook-keeper. Full-wells grip with very light handling wear. Lemke nickel silver down-locking reel seat with a handsome wood spacer. Spigot ferrules that transfer motion and energy more efficiently for a smoother cast. The fit is perfect. White witness marks. The medium-fast action is authoritative and swift yet smooth enough to handle small dries with finesse. Terrific at fishing far and fine or throwing streamers from a drift boat.
