For sale here is a Bob Summers Model 275 bamboo rod. 7'6" for a four weight line. Serial number 111585. Made in 1985. Weighs 3 oz. Cigar grip with black anodized aluminum dual slide-band reel seat with black walnut appointments. Single piece wire U-shape hook keeper. Original labeled bag with ferrule plug attached. Original tube with R.W. Summers engraved cap. This is the best Summers rod I’ve seen in terms of build quality. Excellent plus to near mint lightly used condition. Don't miss out on this opportunity to acquire one of Bob's rods as there aren't many owners willing to give them up and the wait list for a new rod is lengthy to say the least!
This rod comes from a very discriminating collector and fisherman. He's been collecting, buying and selling rods for a long time. He is very particular about evaluating rods and what he buys. He has owned close to 200 rods over the past 25 years and has only kept the very best in terms of condition and build quality. This rod and others represent part of his collection and we feel they are some of the nicest and most honest rods anyone will ever hope to find.

Shipping Information
- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
