For sale here is a six foot nine inch, two piece / two tip rod for a four weight line made by the Booboys at Sweetgrass Rods. Nickel silver cap and ring reel seat, oxidized guides, wrapped ferrules, agate stripping guide, comfortable western style grip, and garnet silk wraps. According to the Booboys, five-strip, or "pent" rods, have a "reserve power" that surprises. The rod has a progressive medium fast action and that mysterious reserve power and will work well in a wide range of conditions from fishing dries to nymphing. The rod weighs 3 oz. and the ferrules are size 10/64. It has been fished sparingly but remains in excellent plus condition. Comes with its original bag and labeled tube. Hand crafted in Twin Bridges, Montana, by the Booboys of Sweetgrass Rods, these rods carry an unconditional warranty and will be around long after the builders have passed to the great waters on the other side.
We attempt to ship all of our items via the United States Postal Service and do our best to ship at cost (if other shipping providers such as UPS / FedEx / DHL are required we may add a surcharge to the shipping costs stated below). All items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
Please note that any international customs duties (such as VAT, etc.) are the responsibility of the buyer. Massachusetts residents must pay a 6.25% sales tax on all purchases.
