For sale here is a very limited edition Thomas and Thomas "25th Anniversary" bamboo rod in like new condition. 7'6", 2/2 for a 3 weight line. Made in 1994.

Over the years we have created a variety of limited edition fly rods. None has been any more striking and original than the one we have made to celebrate our first 25 years of rod making. It has been designed both to reflect the signature characteristics of a Thomas & Thomas rod, like the swelled rod butt and mortised reel seat, and to present several distinctive features never before seen in a fly rod.
We crafted a unique reel seat of magnificent tiger maple over an underbody or cork exposed through the reel seat mortise. This innovative design combines the lightness of cork with the beauty of varnished hardwood. To bring the tones of our split cane into perfect harmony with the tiger maple reel seat, we developed a new flame treating process that provides a distinctive tiger maple pattern on the cane while at the same time producing the perfect heat tempering. The special knurling and metalwork appointments are brand new, and the bronze guides are handmade and fittingly highlighted by a difficult once-around thread wrapping technique. We have constructed the 25th Anniversary split cane rod in a delicate 7 1/2 foot for 3-weight design. It is a delight to cast with small- to medium-size flies under even the most demanding conditions, whether on a Western spring creek or an Eastern trout stream.

Shipping Information
- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

Other Terms
- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
