For sale here is a Thomas and Thomas Henry's Fork Bamboo Rod from T&T's Individualist Series. Taken from the early 1990s catalogs which provided descriptions of each rod, "A longer 8'6 rod for #5 line that's perfect for light line trouting on bigger waters. Medium dry fly action and extra length that allows better control of drag. Smooth casting with minimum effort". The rod is in excellent+ original condition throughout. The rod features a nickel silver screwlock slide band and lock ring, hand buffed. Morticed burled walnut reel seat spacer (one tiny mark on it) and a western grip (may have been cleaned over the years, can't be sure). Elegantly swelled butt, slightly oxidized guides, darkly oxidized ferrules and tip tops, great ferrule fit. The tip tops show some use. "Every Individualist rod boasts a hand-rubbed, high-gloss varnish finish". Clear silk wraps with brown edges and medium brown wraps at the ferrules and winding check. Comes with original bag with stiffener, brass-capped black aluminum tube with nice label. The rod weighs 6 1/4 oz. The rod is serial number 5520, placing the rod's production in the early 2000s. - We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
