For sale here is a Thomas & Thomas Henry's Fork bamboo rod from T&T's Individualist Series. Serial #4401.
From the early 1990s catalogs which provided descriptions of each rod, "A longer 8'6 rod for #5 line that's perfect for light line trouting on bigger waters. Medium side of medium fast dry fly action and extra length that allows better control of drag. Smooth casting with minimum effort."
The rod is in excellent+ original condition, featuring a nickel silver screwlock slide band and lock ring, mortised burled walnut reel seat spacer, and a western grip. Elegantly swelled butt, slightly oxidized guides, darkly oxidized ferrules and tip tops, great ferrule fit.
"Every Individualist rod boasts a hand-rubbed, high-gloss varnish finish".
Clear silk wraps with brown edges and a black band at the ferrules, tip tops, and winding check. Comes with original bag with stiffener, brass-capped aluminum tube with label. The rod weighs 6 1/8 oz.
