For sale here is an impregnated Thomas & Thomas Montana 8' 2/2 6wt from the Individualist Series, T&T's highest grade of rods. This one is in excellent++ condition. Translucent honey wraps tipped in a reddish brown and chocolate brown and the ferrules. Slightly tapered reverse half wells / cigar shaped cork with elegantly swelled butt. Uplocking nickel silver reel seat over walnut. Darkly-oxidized nickel silver ferrules, snake guides and tip tops.The T&T wraps, in this certain period of production, had an issue with "frosting" underneath the wraps. A few of the guide wraps exhibit this phenomenon. This is a purely cosmetic issue per Troy at T&T and has not affected the integrity of the wraps. The asking price reflects this. Serial number 3626. This rod weighs 5 1/4 oz. Size 13/64 ferrules with an excellent fit. On the fast side of medium-fast action. Original bag with wooden stiffener and brass-capped aluminum tube.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
