For sale here is an A.J. Thramer Signature Hollow Series Combo bamboo rod -- 8'6" 4/2 6-7wt and a 7'2" 3/2 5wt. Serial no. S1011. The rod is in excellent+ condition with a bit of light wear. All sections are full length with a minor set in one tip. With all four sections, the rod makes an 8'6" 6-7wt; with the top three sections and the combo grip, the rod makes a 7'2" 5wt rod.
Beautifully flamed cane with dark olive silks. Blued guides and ferrules. Agate stripping guide. Ring hook keeper. The full wells grip is 5 3/4" in length with only mild soiling. Down-locking blued nickel silver reel seat over a cork spacer. The ferrules are size 9/64, 14/64, and 18/64, the fit is excellent. The 7'2 cigar grip measures 5 1/2" with a blued nickel silver cap and ring reel set over a koa wood spacer. The 8'6 configuration weighs 5.40 oz. while the 7'2 weighs 3.95 oz. The full-length action is a smooth medium and the shorter configuration is medium-fast. Original bag with hang tag and a dedicated sleeve for the combo handle and labeled tube.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
