Tirocchi, Massimo - 7'10 4-5wt 3/2 Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a 7'10" #4-5 3/2 hollowbuilt bamboo rod made by Massimo Tirocchi of Italy. A very nice all-around trout rod. This rod exhibits great power through the mid and butt section with an amazingly sensitive tip action for presenting flies. Fast action. The rod works nicely in close due to the sensitive tips, or you can choose to use the power transmitted through the mid and butt sections for longer casts. The suggested line for this rod is a DT4, but it also performs well with a WF5. The rod performs admirably in windy conditions and will have no problem handling fish of considerable size. It sports English-style bronze snake guides and stripping guide. The grip is made of cork rings with mahogany inserts for a very appealing look! Made with Massimo's bamboo ferrules. Nickel silver cap and ring reel seat over a nice handmade olive wood insert. The rod weighs 4 3/4 oz.
