A nice Tom Morgan Rodsmith bamboo fly rod, 7', 2-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #4 line. Ser #33 of 200. The rod weighs 3.8 ounces on my scale. The action is on the faster side of medium. The rod appears in new condition except for some mild tanning to the grip (it appears in subtle strips down the length of the grip, which suggests to me an attempt to clean the grip with a soaked rag). There are no ferrule wrap cracks and the rod is straight. The cane is oven tempered to a wheat straw color and has a 3-up nodes configuration. The main wraps are maroon with gold accents at the keeper and ferrules. The stripper is an agate and the snakes are chrome. The super high quality varnish in flawless. The rod shaft is etched “7' #4" and " #33/200, 2004”. Swiss super-Z style ferrules are polished bright and somewhat truncated. A nickel silver and cork female plug is styled like the tube top. The grip has a six side nickel silver front cork check, polished bright. The grip is 6" long and done in a western style with a hidden pocket cap. The seat is mortised tiger maple and likely stabilized as it is uncoated. The screwlock is an uplock of nickel silver with the slide and nut pared off. The bottom cap is engraved with “Tom Morgan Rodsmith.” The bag is well padded and dark maroon to match the wraps and rod tube. The tube is 8-sided and painted in a deep maroon except for the stylized black anodized collar and top. The top has a repeat of the “Tom Morgan Rodsmith” as a medallion pressed into it. The outfit is encased in a black padded overbag.

Shipping Information
- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
