A Van Staal C-Vex 78 fly reel, 3 3/4" diameter and set up for LHW. Anodized aircraft-grade aluminum for use in the salt. Serial 0224 noted on the inside of the frame. The spool can be changed with the push of a button. Highly ported large arbor design. The sealed drag system is removable and waterproof. Gold-anodized throughout. Designed to hold a WF8 and 250 yards of 20lb backing. It weighs 8.4 ounces on my scale. It packs into a round fishpond reel case.
