For sale here is an Edward Vom Hofe Model 423 "Restigouche" Salmon fly reel in excellent plus overall condition. Size 4/0 - 3 7/8" diameter with a width of 1 11/16". This reel carries the 1902 patent date on the oil cap. German silver safety bands and pair of roller bars. The reel has a very strong adjustable drag and click. This reel has the seven detent arrowhead pointer drag feature with red dot indicators. The reel foot is full length, not filed, and has the model and size stamp along with serial number E211 (made in 1938). Comes with original leather case in fine condition with the same personalized initials.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.
