For sale here is a very scarce Julius Vom Hofe Perforated Trout Reel from 1911-1914. Size 2. With a 2.7" diameter and 0.75" inner frame width, this scarce reel features perforated nickel silver rims, ebonite sideplates, and a full counter-balanced handle arm. The large hard rubber grasp is free from cracks or chips and spins freely upon its post. The sliding on/off click works perfectly. The mechanical operation of the reel remains true with a good click. The foot is full-length and unmodified. The screwheads show very little use. The ebonite sideplates are crack-free.
On the headplate, there are two very faint stampings:

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. - Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
