JD Wagner Patriot Series Quad Bamboo Rod 7'3" 2/2 #4/5

For sale here is a Patriot Series bamboo rod from JD (Jeff) Wagner - a 7'3" 2/2 quad for a 4 or 5 weight line. The Patriot rods are built with the same care and attention to detail as the "Signature" series rods only at a more affordable price. Most only come with one tip though this one has two. The rod is in excellent+ condition. All sections are full length with a slight set in one tip.

Darkly tempered cane with a matte finish. Dark emerald green wraps and blued guides. Blued nickel silver squared winding check. The cigar grip measures 5 1/2" in length. Blued nickel silver cap and ring reel seat over a cork spacer. There is a bit of color variation in the bluing on the reel seat. The nickel silver ferrules have a perfect fit, nice and tight. The rod weighs 3.10 oz. Medium-fast action. Includes original bag with leather hang tag and the original labeled tube with brass fittings.
