For sale here is a very unique and rare rod made by Walton Powell in 1991. The "Golden Signature" rod, part of his Companion series of rods offered in many different configurations, including custom-requested combinations. Semi-hollow built. This one has two butt sections, two mid-sections, and two tip sections, making it the ultimate companion rod. Fully assembled, the sections measure approximately 6 1/2 feet and 7 1/2 feet, owing to the different length butt sections and slightly different mid-section lengths. Medium fast action and made for 3-5 weight lines. Beautifully-engraved uplocking black reel seats. The two butt sections are 19 1/4" and 31". The two mid sections are 30 1/2" and 31" (short section due to prior break at female ferrule). The tip sections are both 30 3/4". The shorter rod weighs 3.80 oz and the longer one weighs 4.55 oz. The rod is in excellent+ condition with minor oxidation loss on the ferrules and tip tops. Comes complete with the original six-compartment rod bag and the original leather rod tube with buckles and removable sections on each end of the tube.

Shipping Information
- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
