For sale here is an R.L. Winston DL4 9' 6wt 4 pc. graphite fly rod. Serial no. 105298. The rod is in excellent+ condition.
Dark green sanded blank with matching wraps, burgundy tipping at the winding check and signature wrap. The "R.L.Winston" decal remains in perfect condition as does the script. Nickel silver winding check. The reverse half-wells grip measures 7 1/8" in length with only light soiling. Nickel silver down-locking reel seat over a beautifully figured walnut spacer. The R.L. Winston logo is laser engraved on the bottom of the butt cap. The spigot ferrules fit together perfectly, void of cracks or other defects. The rod weighs a lean 3.20 oz. The action is a wonderful medium-fast. A terrific balance of power to feel and finesse. This rod is perfectly suited for far and fine casting with larger dries and even some smaller ones.
