For sale here is a pre-IM6 R.L. Winston 9' 5wt 2 pc. graphite fly rod. Serial no. 7044. The rod is in mint condition. 

Green sanded blank with matching wraps, burgundy tipping at the winding check and signature wrap. The "Loving Cup" decal remains in perfect condition as does the script. Ceramic stripping guide. Nickel silver winding check. The reverse half-wells grip measures 6" in length. Black aluminum down-locking reel seat over a beautifully figured black zebra wood spacer. The spigot ferrules fit together perfectly with a 1/8" gap to allow for wear over time. The rod weighs 2.80 oz. The action is wonderful, a medium-fast by today's graphite standards. It retains the feel of fiberglass allowing for more accurate casts and livelier fights. Perhaps the ultimate all-around rod.
