For sale here is a SF-era R.L. Winston 7'6" 5wt fiberglass rod. Two-piece construction. The rod is in excellent condition. All wraps are sound, as is the varnish and the blank itself. A very nicely preserved rod. Chestnut-brown colored blank. Burgundy wraps with brown tipping at the winding check, signature wrap, ferrules, and tip-top. The rod features the "loving cup" label on the butt section. It is fully intact with bold and crisp letters. Ring hook-keeper. Black aluminum winding check. Full wells grip is in lovely shape with light soiling. Gold-anodized aluminum down-locking reel seat with some very minor use marks. Spigot ferrules with a nice secure fit, free of cracks or other defects. There is a 1/4" gap between sections to allow for wear in the future. Smooth and authoritative action on the faster side of medium-fast. A terrific all-around rod for your favorite creek. The rod weighs 2.55 oz. Includes original bag and tube with the label 98% intact.
