Winston, RL -- 8' 4wt 2pc Twin Bridges-era Fiberglass Rod

For sale here is a nice R.L. Winston 8' 4wt 2 pc. fiberglass fly rod. Made early on after the move to Twin Bridges. The rod remains in excellent used condition with only light wear consistent with honest fishing. 

The rod features a maroon blank with burgundy wraps and silver tipping at the ferrules, tip-top, winding check, and signature wrap. The black script remains clean and bold. The butt section features the loving cup decal which is void of any wear or imperfections. U-shaped hook keeper. Bright guides. Nickel silver winding check. Full-wells grip 6 1/2" in length with moderate soiling. Aluminum down-locking reel seat over a walnut spacer. The spigot ferrules have a perfect fit. There is a 1/4" gap to allow for wear over time. The rod has a lovely medium action with plenty of strength in the butt should the wind pick up. A versatile all-around trout rod. Includes the original bag and tube with label.
