For sale here is a Mario Wojnicki six-sided, hollow-built bamboo rod -- 8'6" 2/2 for a 5-6wt line. Serial no. 628-20. The rod is in excellent condition with a bit of light wear. All sections are full length and straight.
Mario informed me that the "627" in the model number scripted on the rod was simply a mistake. As most of you know, the first three numbers represent the length of Mario's rods in centimeters. This rod is actually the 257F6 model, as confirmed by Mario.
Light flame tempered cane with transparent honey colored wraps. Red tipping at the winding check, male ferrules, and tip-tops. The tips are numbered for convenience. Bright guides. The script remains clean and bold. Western-style grip 6 1/4" in length with moderate soiling. Handsome cap and ring reel seat over a gorgeously figured wood spacer. The Swiss-style ferrules are size 14/64 with a perfect fit. Bluing loss on the cap and ring, one tip ferrule, and the female ferrule. The rod weighs 4.10 oz. Medium-fast dry fly action with a progressive taper. A great rod for far and fine casts on big rivers and lakes. Includes original bag and brown powder coated tube with Wojnicki decal.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

Other Terms
- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
